This is a lab with an incubation chamber. Inside the tank is a strange creature. It just woke up for the first time and now tries to stand up. Outside we see some scientific equipment and mechanical arms, all controlled by robots that monitor their creation carefully.

The image is created in Maya and rendered with Mental Ray. Some post work like blooms, depth fog and color tweaks are done with render layers in Photoshop.
